In his teens, Charlie Ramirez was a trouble-maker and a small time thief. He spent most of his time spreading graffiti around the city using the name Xeno. He was seen and chased by a police officer one night while getting his name up all around the east side of town. During the chase, his adrenaline rush helped trigger the manifestation of his ability. Running out of breath, he gave up on the chase and began to surrender, only to not be recognized by the officer as he caught up to him. In confusion, Xeno made his way home and finally realized what had happened. He no longer appeared to be Charlie Ramirez, but he now looked like a completely different person. With this ability, Xeno had embraced the criminal life. However, after a few months of using his powers, he began to slowly mutate. His appearance was altered due to the excessive manipulation to his DNA and since then, Xeno has changed his ways and is now serving to protect his new home of Millennium City.

Samhain is a vampire who is on a blood-thirsty quest to capture and detain Xeno in order to harvest his blood for his own survival! It all began one evening when the two met in a dark alley down in West Side and became involved in a physical confrontation that Samhain would never forget. During the battle, he managed to cut Xeno open and get a taste of his blood. This blood was so delicious to him, that it distracted him long enough for the shape-shifter to win the fight and escape. Upon having the blood tested, Samhain discovered that it was a very unique type which had been transformed due to Xeno's special abilities, and so he vowed to get his hands on more. Not only was this blood tasty, but it also helped make him a lot more powerful than normally. For this reason, he will not rest until he has captured Xeno and imprisoned him once and for all!
