Chris Holdbrook was once a normal man working a farm in Southern Louisiana. However, that would all change one day during the catastrophe which was caused by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. During the the event, he was out in the open and happened to be struck by a bolt of lightning in which he became imbued by the power of the mighty storm. He survived the incident and so Chris began to learn to use his abilities and eventually even became the hero we now know as StormRider. StormRider has since decided to use his incredible powers to help others in need and has joined up with the Metal Militia in an effort to put a boot in the asses of all of Millennium City's scum!

Before she was Seether, Jessica Patterson was a regular person and a friend to StormRider. Then one day while testing a new Dragon Armor that she had invented, she was attacked by Viper agents who wanted to steal her work. Luckily for her, StormRider was present at the time and began to fight off the invading villains. This is when things took a turn for the worse. During the battle, one of StormRider's electrical charges hit Jessica and it somehow reacted with the suit in an unexpected way. As the Viper soldiers retreated, Jessica Patterson realized that she was not only injured by the accidental discharge, but she was now fused together with the Dragon Armor. Blaming StormRider for her misfortune, she vowed revenge on him and is now on a mission for his demise!
