Titano is a former professional wrestler, and is known as one of the most dominant luchadores of all time. However, his days of being a wrestling champion came to an abrupt end one night while performing a match in Mexico City. In front of a crowd of thousands, Titano's abilities manifested as he attempted to escape a full nelson submission hold, which was being applied to him by his opponent. Although nobody was injured, Titano left the wrestling business in fear that he would accidentally hurt a fellow performer. Due to his sudden manifestation, his size was permanently altered and he now has incredible strength among other super-human powers. Titano then moved to the U.S. and became, not only a citizen, but a protector of this country as well. He did an excellent job as a border patrolman, however, he left a bad impression among those who worked beside him. Feeling unwanted and unappreciated, he left that profession and is now using his abilities for the greater good of his new home in Millennium City, protecting it from any outside threats!

Minuteman is a roughneck Texan with a bad attitude and is a former border patrolman who believes that the United States is the most dominant country on the planet. His history with Titano began not long ago after Titano became an American citizen and vowed to do the job that Minuteman was doing. That job was to protect the country from outside threats, not only Earthly, but alien as well. Minuteman and the others he worked with took offense to the fact that Titano was doing the job that would normally require a full team of officers. They felt that he was outing the border patrol and all the work they've been doing, so Minuteman conspired with his co-workers to drive Titano away. Although Titano eventually left the border patrol in order to pursue other interests, Minuteman remains on a quest to silence Titano and reclaim his spotlight as the guardian of our gates!
