Livewire was a football wide-receiver who had always worked hard to become successful. He was always an excellent student and a ladies man who was very outgoing and social, and had many goals and ambitions set for his future. However, this would all change one night when he decided to go for an evening jog after a night a practice with his teammates. Unfortunately for him, this was the wrong night for him to be outside. During his run, the skies began to get darker and the sound of thunder could be heard. Livewire decided to turn back and head home, but was stopped in his tracks as a bolt of lightning shot from the skies and struck him on the chest. Livewire passed out for a few moments, and when he came to, he realized that something was different. He had somehow absorbed the electricity and was now able to run faster without becoming tired. Eventually he also realized that by absorbing electrical currents, he could release and manipulate them at will. With this great power, he decided to help the world in any way possible, and so he has moved to Millennium City in order to help clean up the streets!

Abyss is a very intelligent criminal and a fugitive to his home world of Europa. His power to manipulate water particles and adapt his lungs to any environment make him a very dangerous individual to detain and so he often escapes from law enforcement officials. During his few years on Earth, he has encountered many heroes who've attempted to stop his criminal activities, but only one has given him a run for his money. Livewire has crossed paths with this villain many times and has since been determined to destroy Abyss' operations. He has said that he will not stop until he sees his nemesis behind bars or in the custody of his former leaders on the ice moon. However, due to his connections with certain organizations in Vibora Bay where he now operates, this has proven to be a difficult task for Livewire to achieve. Abyss has proven to be quite the adversary and has been outspoken about not going down without severe consequences. He has made it his own mission to end Livewire once and for all and proceed with his evil-doings!
