After being abandoned by her father, Amberlynn Grant was forced to change her life in a dramatic fashion. She was once a regular person, but had to work most of her life in order to help her mother raise her six younger brothers. She had many things to worry about in life and so she chose to take up gaming as a stress-reliever. However, Amberlynn became intrigued by the many different games types and became lost in the worlds of science-fiction, fantasy and horror. This obsession is what triggered the manifestation of her hidden powers. After a night of gaming with a group of friends, she went to bed only to wake up as a real-life superhero! She found that she had many powers and would now have a higher calling far from her home and friends. Now she has found herself in a world where true heroes and villains live, and so she has decided to set the books aside in order to play by the rules and join the fight for justice!

Queen Mary-Sue is in charge of all the lesser Marys and Garys, as she would call her minions. She is of the alien race known as "the Plot" and enjoys toying with meddling heroes and villains alike. One must beware of her seductive kiss, as that is how her ability to control the mind is activated. She did this to unsuspecting victims for her master's pleasure until Lady Ace came into the scene. Knowing the game and it's rules, Lady Ace destroyed many of Mary-Sue's subjects and has derailed all of her plans. For every plan she derailed, Lady Ace ended up stealing more and more of her power. Now the Queen realizes that Lady Ace is a freeborn plot twist under no game-master's control and is determined to regain her stolen power!
