Violet Reed is the seventh child to a rather large family and was considered by many to be the next Stephen King of horror novels. No one knows where she gets her great ideas, but the real story here lies in her past. On her seventh birthday, Violet spent time with her relatives during a family reunion on the beach. Her uncle rented a sailboat for the family to enjoy some time on the water, however, something happened while Violet was taking her ride. A freak storm suddenly picked up and began to rock the boat, tossing Violet overboard into the stormy waters below. To make things worse, she was attacked by a shark while attempting to stay afloat, and lost an arm in the process. Violet's uncle quickly grabbed his rifle and managed to drive the beast away, only to realize the damage it had already done. Upon being pulled out of the waters and back onto the boat, Violet claimed that the shark which attacked her had arms and legs. Nobody seemed to understand what she was saying at the time, aside from her grandfather, Dr. Malcolm Tucker Reed. Once she was sent into his care, she was built a new cybernetic arm and help to reshape her into the new woman she is today. It's been about 20 years since that day and Violet has a feeling that whatever that creature was, is still out there waiting for her to return!

Meg traveled the vast oceans to find a young Violet Reed, but she already had anger in her heart and mind. She attacked Violet but was shot at in return. Although she took Violet's arm, she took some heavy damage to one of her own arms, her leg and her tail and somehow managed to have cybernetic parts replace them. Now she has a psychic bond with Violet Reed and wants her "sister" more than ever. The only problem is that Meg can't control her appetite and one bite wasn't enough. There's blood in the waters and it's feeding time!
