Izumi grew up in a very well respected village with traditional Japanese values. She began her training as a child and became a master ninja by her early adulthood. When her abilities to regenerate living cells manifested, her master insisted that she use them to help those in need until her higher calling came. She began to heal people within her village and later she was helping everyone she could across the country. Then, one of her oldest friends discovered that he had special abilities of his own, however, he began to use them for selfish reasons. He left the village and began to bring harm to the people which she was helping and this showed her what her true purpose was. Helping the world was too much for one person to handle on their own and so she followed her new rival to Millennium City in an effort to apprehend him and stop his criminal operations for good! Now as a member of the Metal Militia, Izumi can operate on a much larger scale as she spends her days protecting the people of West Side along with her team and healing the sick and wounded as much as possible. She has realized that the world is in need of heroes, and now as Miss Kimono, she has stepped forward in order to help protect it from evil!

Senshi grew up and trained with Miss Kimono up until their early adulthood when he decided to leave his home village. After learning the essentials and basics of ninja mastery, Senshi's greed took hold of him and so he decided to use his skills for selfish reasons. He turned to petty crime until he discovered his ability to convert his skin into metal. This was extremely exciting to him since he now was able to commit more vicious crimes without the worry of being harmed by authorities. Over time, he became a well-known criminal in Japan and even led a team of villains in terrorizing various cities and villages around the country. However, once Miss Kimono learned of his new life, she made it her responsibility to intervene and stop him and his evil-doings. She made his operations very difficult to pursue, and so he fled Japan and moved to Millennium City where Miss Kimono would later follow. Now, Senshi has vowed to eliminate his former colleague and continue with his criminal ways as planned so he is constantly trying to figure out ways of trapping her in order to end her heroic acts for good!
