Logan is a mercenary who specializes in many paranormal cases, preferring those that call for demonic or undead slaying. His arsenal usually consists of firearms and melee weapons including dual golden handguns which never need reloading as well as a variety of giant swords and axes. The guns are handmade with the words "fiat justitia" written on them which translate to "let justice be done". His superhuman powers are a result of his half-devil heritage which also grants him a transformation ability known as the Devil Form. In this state, Logan possesses greater powers which also give him the ability to fly. He is extremely confident in his encounters with opponents and frequently taunts monsters and villains before engaging them in battle. Logan is one of the twin sons of Duke Haures who is the demon knight that sided with humanity and drove back a demonic invasion of the human world. After Haures' death, both Logan and his brother Azrael were raised by their human mother, Eva. When the boys were young, the family was attacked by demons and this resulted not only in Eva's death, but it also left Logan committed to hunting demons down in pursuit of those that killed his mother.

Azrael always blamed Logan for the death of their mother. He believes that Logan could have saved her using his great power which was inherited from his father, Duke Haures. Since Azrael took after his human mother, he never really had any superhuman abilities to speak of and so he swore vengeance on Logan after seeking out other means of gaining power. He began to make dark pacts with Devil's demons and these encounters left Azrael twisted both mentally and physically. However, he has proven time and time again that he will stop at nothing to see Logan, and anyone else who gets in his way, destroyed!
